“The Phone Booth,” as it’s lovingly known along the Beltway, occupies a prime spot in the District, within close proximity of tourist attractions, halls of government, D.C. hotspots and the Metro. It’s also an all-purpose venue, with the NHL (Capitals), NBA (Wizards), WNBA (Mystics), college hoops (Georgetown) and major concerts and shows filling dates throughout the year.

From here, another big-time arena in another prime spot awaits Mrs. Fan: Madison Square Garden in New York.
