The puck drops in Pittsburgh
We’re big hockey nuts at The Itinerant Fan, and so naturally we started off the NHL preseason by seeing a game: Penguins-Red Wings at Consol Energy Center.
Only a few years old, Consol Energy Center is a beautiful facility that has a few distinctly Steel City touches. The home team didn’t win, but we considered it a nice start to what should be a fantastic hockey season.
