Setting the hockey scene in Philly

It may be freezing cold on the East Coast right now, but what better reason to head inside and watch hockey? That’s precisely what Mrs. Fan is doing right now, kicking off a four-city NHL tour on Thursday by heading to Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for Flyers-Capitals.

Wells Fargo Center has been known by many names over the years — namely, CoreStates Center, First Union Center and Wachovia Center — but the successor to the old Spectrum has been a reliable place for Philly fans to watch sports for nearly 20 years.

Next stop for Mrs. Fan: Newark, N.J. and the Prudential Center.
