‘White Hot Sunday’ in San Diego

Two weeks into the NFL regular season, and we’ve been to two NFL games. This Sunday it was Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, where the Chargers beat the Seahawks in one of the most talked-about games of the day:

It’s an expensive proposition to attend NFL games each Sunday, no doubt, but in this case San Diego is the closest NFL city to our home base of Los Angeles, which made it slightly less damaging to the wallet. Still, it’s a rewarding experience to catch an NFL game in any of its 32 home cities, and this one was made all the better by the compelling game, during which the Chargers wore white as part of the team’s “White Hot Sunday” promotion.

Speaking of hot, it really was pretty darn hot during the game — unseasonably so for San Diego in mid-September. But that didn’t get us down.
