Intuit Dome
Our guide to the Intuit Dome, the Los Angeles Clippers’ new arena in Inglewood, includes information on events, tickets, parking, hotels, seating, food and more. Read on to find out how to get the most out of your gameday experience.
* * *
For decades, the Los Angeles Clippers have toiled in the shadow of their more popular intracity rival, the Lakers.
Not helping matters was the fact the Clippers shared an arena with the Lakers, Crypto.com Arena, and in many ways were treated as a second-class tenant in their own home.
But after more than two decades, those days are over. Beginning with the 2024-25 NBA season, the Clippers have a new arena to call their own. And early indications are the Intuit Dome could put the Lakers’ home — and all other arenas in use around the NBA — to shame.
Privately financed by the Clippers’ billionaire owner Steve Ballmer, the Intuit Dome was constructed at a cost of $2 billion, making it one of the most expensive sports venues ever built. (The facility that holds the record, the $5 billion SoFi Stadium, stands just across the street.)
It already promises to set the standard for arenas in a number of ways, and certainly will become one of the most technologically advanced presentations in the NBA.
The Intuit Dome opened in August 2024 with a series of high-profile concerts, providing a sneak peek at what the new arena will be like for big events before the Clippers moved in.

Getting to the Intuit Dome
The Intuit Dome is just the latest event venue to take its place in the burgeoning entertainment of Inglewood, a suburb just east of Los Angeles International Airport.
In addition to SoFi Stadium, Inglewood is also home to the Forum, the Lakers’ longtime home before the team moved to downtown L.A. in 2000. The Forum still stands and is used primarily as a concert venue these days.
The Clippers’ new arena is located at the corner of Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard, with two freeways, the 405 (San Diego Freeway) and 105 (Century Freeway) both about a mile and a half away. Most drivers will find themselves exiting one of these two freeways at Century or Prairie, respectively, and then heading down those streets directly to the arena.
Fans who have used public transit to attend SoFi Stadium events will find similar options in place for games at the Intuit Dome. Namely, L.A. Metro riders who take the C Line to the Hawthorne/Lennox station, or who ride the K Line to the Downtown Inglewood station, will be able to ride free shuttles to the arena.
After the game, Metro shuttles can be picked up on the first floor of the East Garage, located a block east of the arena on Century Boulevard.
The Intuit Dome also announced that patrons will be able to book free regional shuttles round-trip from one of five locations around Southern California, including the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Union Station in downtown L.A. Parking at the Intuit Dome
Along with the Intuit Dome, two parking structures were built for fan use. The West Garage is on the other side of Prairie Avenue, and is connected to the entrance plaza via pedestrian bridge.
Meanwhile, the East Garage is located a block away along Century Boulevard, between Doty and Yukon avenues. The primary entrance to the East Garage is actually on 102nd Street, on the structure’s south side.
Parking fees vary by event and the Intuit Dome encourages patrons to purchase passes before coming to the arena. Passes are most readily available to fans via the Clippers/Intuit Dome app (which is a must if you plan to see an event there — more on that below).

Things to do around the Intuit Dome
The Intuit Dome is in an interesting location, right at the corner of a well-trafficked intersection. It also is wedged into the existing neighborhood, nestled amid a number of existing buildings — including one homeowner who simply refused to give up her lot in the arena’s shadow.
Despite that, there are a few options for pregame entertainment around the arena. An independent brewpub called Cork and Batter is the closest option, just a short stroll east on Century Boulevard.
Across the street, a retail complex that was part of the plan for the Hollywood Park site when SoFi Stadium was constructed is starting to take shape. While meant to serve fans attending events at SoFi as well as an apartment complex being built alongside it, the center will be an option for patrons headed to the Intuit Dome as well.
While not fully filled out with tenants, as of the summer of 2024 the retail center included a movie theater, a fitness center and a high-tech “experiential hub” called Cosm Los Angeles.
The Hollywood Park Casino, once part of the racetrack facility, has a new building along Century Boulevard as well.
East of the casino, several large shopping centers for the Inglewood community exist as options as well, though most of the dining is of the fast-food variety, including In-N-Out, Wendy’s and Carl’s Jr.

Watching a game at the Intuit Dome
Befitting such an advanced and expensive arena, the Intuit Dome has a few bells and whistles that will make attending a game here a lot different from most other experiences in the NBA, and across professional sports in general.
First, don’t arrive without downloading the official Intuit Dome app to your phone. If you purchased parking (see above), you will have that covered, but if not, the arena says you won’t be allowed in. As an added carrot, anyone who creates a profile on the app will be given a $10 credit to use at any Intuit Dome concession stand.
Within the app, you’ll be given the option to upload a photo of yourself, and then gain access to the arena via face recognition. Should you decline to add a photo, you can use the app’s “Identity Pass” as a mobile ticket, which can be downloaded to your Apple or Google Wallet.
The Intuit Dome also allows you to create a “Teammate Account” so that you can scan passes for minors, adults needing assistance or anyone who wouldn’t otherwise be able to use the app.
Most fans going to a game will enter through the frontage plaza opening out onto Century Boulevard. This is a fairly large space that includes the Clippers’ team store and, presumably, pregame entertainment such as live music and sponsor booths. Most of the plaza will also be beyond the ticket gates.
Early indications are that, once inside, the corridors and passageways will be well-appointed and very much basketball-themed. However, it’s once you get into the seating bowl that the Intuit Dome really stands out.
The Intuit Dome is the first arena in the NBA to have a 360-degree halo board over the seating area instead of the typical center-hung videoboard. It’s similar to the display at the arena’s football neighbor across the street, but probably more closely resembles the board at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
As for the seating bowl itself, the defining feature of the Intuit Dome is “The Wall,” the single tier of seats on the east end of the arena behind one of the baskets. The Clippers are taking great measures to ensure the Wall provides something of a home-court advantage for their new arena, going so far as to forbid any fan who sits in that area from wearing the gear of any other NBA team or cheering for the opposing team.
The front rows of the section directly behind the basket are designated as a “Supporters Section,” reserved for fans who have purchased season tickets for the section directly from the Clippers.
As for the rest of the seating bowl, the Intuit Dome’s upper deck has gaps in the two corners opposite the Wall, which are promising spots for standing-room viewing of the game and perhaps bars making for good in-game gathering spots.
The Intuit Dome also boasts more than 1,100 toilets, which Ballmer said is three times more than the average of other NBA arenas.
Food and drink at the Intuit Dome
The Intuit Dome’s food options promise to be just as unique as the rest of the arena experience, as the Clippers brought in two executive chefs to “reimagine” the stadium concessions experience.
Early highlights of the food menu at the Intuit Dome include bacon-wrapped hot dogs, gourmet cheeseburgers, Detroit-style personal pizzas and sushi rolls.
The Intuit Dome concourses will also have numerous grab-and-go stations where fans can scan a credit card to enter, grab food and drinks and then simply exit, using technology that has become fairly commonplace at sports venues around the U.S.
